Certified Chartered Accountant | International Finance & Development Expert Olivia Mushamba is a highly accomplished Certified Chartered Accountant with deep expertise in financial management, auditing, and accounting, particularly within international development and multinational organizations. With a strong track record in the design and implementation of financial systems, Olivia brings over a decade of strategic leadership in programme financial management and donor-funded project oversight.

Her multifaceted career spans critical sectors such as financial risk management, budgeting and expenditure control, financial reporting, project management, and tax compliance. Olivia is also experienced in multicurrency reconciliations, international forex transactions, and pre- and post-grant audits. She has worked with leading global institutions, including Ernst & Young, where she served as Auditor in Charge for projects funded by major donors such as EU, DFID, USAID, SIDA, and NORAD. At ActionAid International, she led long-term and operational financial planning for a federation of 47 country offices, managing an annual budget of approximately EUR 230 million.

Olivia also oversaw a AU$50 million fund on behalf of the Australian Government, supporting 87 development projects across 51 African countries, as well as programs in Australia and South America.
